Jen Hallee Little (Executive Director) has over 10 years of experience in non-profit management, event planning, and community organizing. After two years of Americorps service with City Year New Hampshire, Jen stayed on staff to help improve their service capacity and volunteer engagement throughout New Hampshire. Most recently, she worked at Southern New Hampshire University in Alumni Relations and Development helping to grow the alumni community and engage them in giving back to the university. Jen has an MBA from Southern New Hampshire University and a BA in Biology/Biochemistry from Colby College. In her spare time, Jen loves hanging with her wife and almost-two year old son, spending time with friends, watching HGTV, and being outdoors.
Shayna Lewis (Program & Communications Manager) came to Boston by way of San Francisco, where she did indeed leave her heart. Before joining CAC, she focused on communications, development and general program management at Ibis Reproductive Health. Shayna has a long history of working in and advocating on reproductive rights and social justice issues at organizations including the UCSF/UC Hastings Consortium on Law, Science and Health Policy and ANSIRH, and is so excited to continue those efforts here. Shayna has a JD from Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law and a BA in Sociology and Political Science from the University of Arizona (#BearDown). She’s a sucker for naps and a good bass line. Outside of the office you can usually find her making bad playlists and half-wishing she was running or reading, instead of binge watching Adventure Time and the West Wing for the 80th time.
