Women for Afghan Women help many women and girls in their shelters. Every other Monday, we will post one of these women's stories. This is the first.
"It was breathtaking to meet this woman. She was a bubbly, shining teen. She's now safe, is going to have reconstructive surgery, and she's going to have a life. And to see that firsthand? Breathtaking."
They potted beautiful flowers and delivered them to neighboring houses along with notes that read: “Happy Spring! From, The Pomegranate Place.” Their friendly gesture was appreciated so much that one man even came to PomPlace to personally thank them.
