ABT12: Music & Women's Empowerment Alternative Break Tour

This May a crew of volunteers (ages 21+) will spend a long weekend on the road in Europe with Chadwick Stokes for our next Alternative Break Tour! Powered by Calling All Crows, ABTs are unique volunteer trips for music fans looking to create change through hands-on service and activism. Designed to give service-minded music fans a taste of life on tour, these trips are full-immersion, 4-day/3-night experiences that transform communities and the lives of the participants. Volunteers will travel together on a tour bus for five days and four nights, completing service projects and community engagement event in support of gender equality with local NGOs and non-profit organizations during the day, and volunteer with Calling All Crows at Chad's concert each night! The tour is making stops in Graz, Budapest and Vienna.

This May's Music & Women's Empowerment Alternative Break Tour experience includes:

• Travel on a tour bus from the arrival city to the departure city, May 14-18, 2015.
• All meals from dinner on arrival day (May 14) to breakfast on departure day (May 18).
• Concert outreach opportunities with Calling All Crows and general admission to three Chadwick Stokes shows.
• Hands-on volunteer opportunities in Graz, Budapest and Vienna and all service supplies.

Volunteers are responsible for:

• Providing their own transportation into Munich, Germany (MUC) by 5:00 pm on Thursday, May 14.
• Providing their own transportation out of Vienna, Austria (VIE) after 8 am on Monday, May 18.
• Raising $800 to offset ABT program costs while on ABT including travel and lodging; breakfast, lunch, and dinner each day (only dinner on Thursday, May 14); and volunteer opportunities. Program costs are all-inclusive.
• An initial $200 non-refundable deposit (toward $800 total tuition) is due no later than March 27 (based on priority application deadline subject to change based on waitlist status and CAC approval).

Please note, US citizens should have a passport that is valid for a period of at least six months beginning on May 14.
